I looked in the other questions and no one touched upon this..
When sexually excited, I remain rather dry. This is annoying and unpleasant. I just started taking YAZ about a week ago, but I also had laproscopic surgery about a week ago. Has anyone else had this side effect? Do you think it is from the b.c or the surgery?

I would say probably the surgery because although im not on YAZ im on yasmin and i have never heard of that type of side affect from any bc

I take Yasmin for over a year and have not had any side effects. But I would say the the laproscopic surgery and where you are in your cycle, maybe causing your problem.
Also if you have only just starting using Yaz then its unlikely to be the Yaz birth control that is contributing to your problem.
To over come dryness use a good quality personal lubricant, if symptoms continue see you doctor.

I have not taken Yaz or Yazmin, but they all can have bad reactions. Personally, I'm searching for a non-hormonal form other than IUD because the hormones cause me to grow non-cancerous tumors (I do it without BC, but they grow fast and hurt if I'm on it).

it would make better since it is from yaz..I had the lapsurgery done..lucky u i had to wait 6 weeksanyway what about lube jelly? I hope this helps i did find a web sight for u

yaz made me dry and eventually not interested in sex. i stopped taking it after 2 months. i also cried all the time. not all pills are for everyone.
