I had my nose pierced last January but ended up taking it out after a few weeks because I needed surgery and was recommended to take it out. I really want to get it pierced again and don't mind spending the money or enduring the pain but should I? Is it worth it? I'm 19 and I just don't want to get it done again and then feel I'll grow out of it. I know eventually I'd take it out but for the meanwhile.....

Have your nose pierced again. I think they look neat. If I could stand the pain of having it done I'd have my nose pierced but I'm a chicken. I had my ears pierced 3 different times.My daughter had her tongue pierced 2 different times and took the piercings out both times.

I've had my nose pierced for 10yrs, I love it & it's there to stay. If you choose a stud rather than a ring (they get ripped out..ouch) try to use a proper nose stud from the beginning (it's a stud that's kinda curly & stays in better) & you will have less trouble : )

this piercing thing is going to go out someday like everything else and what are the people going to be left with holes in their face? you only get one face let it be just that. you can always wear a fake one and forget about making another hole. my friend let hers close and she said it looks just like a huge open pore. i kinda agree.

My sister is in her 30's and just had hers done. She loves it and I think it's really cute. The guys think it's sexy. The only problem is that she can't pick her nose anymore. I know that's grose, but it's true.

I personally think piercings (other than ears) are tacky and unattractive.
