Yes! And then Dee Snider from Twisted Sister straightened it all out for us!! I'm sure some of it is, but what I listen to isn't and contrary to what people think, I can understand the lyrics. Hey, if you haven't watched 'Detroit Rock City', rent it. Its hilarious!!

Yes, I was told that, and it is lame. If people listen to the words of most heavy metal songs, they would see that they are pretty awesome and not at all satanic. Back in the 80's my uncle was feeling suicidal, and he started listening to heavy metal and it actually helped him out of a dark spot.

Yes - usually by people who never listened to the lyrics, or even heard the music, but were mouthing something that someone else said.

I was especially from my parents but they listen to old skool metal so i dont get it
