Yes ofcourse its safe. Unless you want someone to hold you if your scared. I just curl up on the lounge with a pillow and a blanket some popcorn and a can f coke and watch away i am a horror and thriller freak and i watch tons all by myself. The only ones i wont watch on my own are the grudge and When a stranger calls (obviously cause she is alone lol)

Only If You Have a dead body On the Floor for the Villian to trip over while climbing out of the television to get you.. gives you a few seconds head start to RUN!!!!!!

Yea it's awesome! u find out if u scare easy. Just chill and watch the movie and have the volume up really high it makes it better

If your not scared to watch them by yourself, I don't see why it wouldn't be safe.

Sure, if you're not one to get too worked up over a movie.
But if you generally freak out over scary flicks (or are mentally unstable), I don't recommend it.

I would be too scared.....but go ahead if you want..... more power to you!its not like its a health hazard or nething....just cuz yer alone that doesnt mean you'll go to the twilight zone...

I do all the time. With surround sound.....There only movies nothing real.....so enjoy yourself.
