while writing the date i will write 2007 instead of 2006

I yelled out Happy New Year, and May 2007 be better than 2006 to everyone in the room. Partied till 3 am, slept like a baby till noon.

We partied, and gave kisses and hugs to everyone at the party. Unfortunately the celebration was short lived, as shortly after midnight , at a party at the neighbor's a fight broke out between 2 brothers, and one stabbed and killed the other. As I watched all the commotion next door, I felt deep sadness for that family, and had a not so good feeling about how this year has started.

At the stroke of midnight, My partner and I looked into each others eyes, said Happy New Year to each other and had a beautiful, long kiss. Then we danced. A perfect evening.
