"Moonlighting" is doing something extra or after hours. For example, if I worked a 9-5 job, but bartended at night, I could say I am "moonlighting" as a bartender.

This term refers to taking a second job. It was first coined to describe the situation of a person who could not make ends meet with just one job -- usually a "day" job. The second job had to be at night. Hence, the term: "moonlighting."

Watching anime =( I re watched the entire seasons of dragonball (z)(gt) and cardcaptor sakura this last summer. I'm 21 by the way. So yea, got sooooo obsessed that I even started reading mangas. Now I spend at least 2 hours a day reading mangas before I go to sleep. I feel like a loser. I'm also a huge gamer. I spend like 2 hours a day playing nintendo.

Holding down a second job. It means the person has a primary or main job. The second job is moon lighting, apparently because most secondary jobs occur at night. In this day and age, it's kind of an out-moded word. Everyone has to have a couple of jobs just to pay the mortgage.

It means pretty much as you guessed, working a second job. Comes from working a "regular" job during the day, and another one at night while the "moon" is out. Hope this helps.

It's when you work a second job in addition to your primary source of income.
It's also a TV show from the 80's.
