It's a national day of mourning for the late President Ford. All non-essential government offices such as the Post Office will be closed.
I haven't heard anything about school closings, and I suspect that would be up to the discretion of individual school districts. Watch your local news, and if your school is closed, I'm sure it'll be mentioned.
And please, please humor this old ex-English teacher -- it's "didn't."

It is a national day of mourning...but I don't believe that schools are closed because of it. Schools need to be in session for a certain amount of days. So a funeral shouldn't keep this from happening. I know many places are still on their holiday break...so you may not have school because of this. Im a teacher and I have to go back to school on Jan 3...but my son's school doesn't go back until Jan. 8th. Look up your schools web site, it should tell you. :P

Like maximum of people who've replied I additionally make a factor of the version between Unidentified Flying products ( completely achieveable and thoroughly attainable. there's an excellent variety of issues throughout this previous universe we won't become attentive to or comprehend...yet) and the ever time-honored extraterrestrial beings in alien craft. Now i'm a Sci Fi fan and what some might call a technological information nerd. So right here is going...There probable are different smart beings obtainable, someplace. i'm even prepared to suspect that a number of them purely might have discovered a fashion around that bothersome Einsteinian velocity shrink. (image a site visitors cop beside a saucer writing them a cost tag for going over the linked fee of light.) yet even then i can't help yet ask why they may be poking around in this loopy little lower back water planet? we aren't that smart so as that they might't extremely need to reproduce with us. Our biology probable isn't something like theirs so as that they could not besides. in the event that they might commute to this international we even have no scientific wonders they have not already considered until now. the only element left is they could be coming right here to work out the loopy monkeys of their organic habitat until now suggested monkey's completely smash it and themselves. or perhaps their taking samples to maintain astounding existence varieties...yet even that seems a tad to a strategies out, apart from a Sci Fi tale. Now thinking the time, hardship and expience of intersteller commute I very a lot doubt that any intelegent species might cling around this international for terribly long in any respect. a minimum of partly for worry that certainly one of their craft may be captured and the beasts might get unfastened into civilized area.

Tomorrow is not a national holiday, check your school's website, local newspaper or tv news for information on whether your school will be in session or not.
