For some people it is an honest search for answers that they have never encountered or been given. What may seem silly to some is a serious matter for others who may not have the background that you do. Think of it as someone who was raised in the backwoods (way back) and walks to a big city for the first time, encountering as they go, thier first automobile, thier first street light, thier first person whose skin is a different color. For most of us, cars are an everyday occurance, street lights are everywhere and a persons color doesn't matter (well, to most of us anyway). I actually knew a young lady from Philadelphia who came out to western Kansas for a job that involved driving a company vehicle (standard). She didn't even have a drivers license and wondered when the bus ran by her apartment. In Philly, she took the bus everywhere, in this small kansas town, there was no bus and no taxi! Needless to say her background did not prepare her for life in small town western kansas. Experience, knowledge and perception.

Am I pregnant?

OMG that just drives me nuts. Like you can't waddle on down to the drugstore and buy a pregnancy test. What do you want me to do--whip out crystal ball!?!? SHHEEESSSHH

Or the next most irritating and stupid question...I am having a problem with my period..blah blah blah. I never ever realized so many women were so obsessed with their period . Good grief, take some Midol and deal with it.

O.K. I feel so much better since I vented...thanks

Sometimes we have silly questions and curiosities and this is a at times a safe haven. Sometimes the answers are silly as well, sometimes they're down right nasty. But it's all in good fun. Take what you want & leave the rest. Happy New Year.

Well, if you mean the questions like 'Could I be pregnant?' or 'Does she like me?', then I can only assume they actually think these questions can be adequately answered by asking 12 to 36 strangers on the internet.

if you're talking about the questions like 'Where is my cat hiding?' Or 'Should I join the nuclear arms race?' then it's about the entertainment and they are hoping for funny answers that will make them laugh.
