My leg muscles feel like I have just finished running a long ways. In actuality, I have only walked a short distance. This burning and fatigue in my legs seems to be getting worse. Is my body lacking some vitamin or mineral?

What your lacking is the ability to release the acid from your muscles. Poor circulation. Are you eating fried foods and excessive salt? Do you remember what fruit and vegetables taste like? When was the last time you ate some nuts, seeds and grains? Is your liver on vacation? I'm sure you are lacking vitamin and minerals along with some common sense about eating. Find a nutritionist in your area. Evaluate your diet and make some changes.

I have a burning sensation in one of my legs. After MRI, Xray and some needle tests, they couldnt find anything. A regular physical therapist didn't help either. I dont have the problem any more as I went to a massage therapist who worked on my leg for 24 visits....after 3 visits, no pain which I had for 10 months prior. Darn Blue Cross insurance wouldnt pay for it. Several months later it started to come back so I massaged it a little myself occassionally, plus I've joined a gym and workout on machines for my legs. I no longer have that escruiciating pain that I had before.

Jan, try consulting a doctor...have them run an MRI test on you...could be something neurological, u never know. Also, like the person stated above, evaulate what ur eating. Stay away from too much fried stuff, eat more fruit, vegetables, and water, water, water...I cannot stress that enough. Water is what most of our bodies are made out of. Take more omega-3 oils, such as tuna, cod, or even extra-virgin olive oil which contain the same agents as ibuprofen.....good luck to you.

This is a key sign of low magnesium and B vitamins. 80% of Americans alone are deficient. You will need to take around 400-500mg of Mag. at bedtime and 100mg daily of a B-100 complex. If you find the Mag. supplement stimulates your gut, get a Mag supplement with Taurate combined which seems to help the gut settle. You will need to do this regime for several weeks before you see results but it does have good result.
