Hang on . . . Let me think of a good metaphor. Imagine a busy highway full of vehicles as a flowing river. . . .
So you would say that the highway is a river of cars flowing by. . . . .
That's the best I can do. . . Doesn't that help visualize how busy the highway is?

Using metaphors is like taking up archery. You try to hit your mark from a distance that is unnecessarily difficult. And while there are easier ways to hit the bullseye, none are as fun.
