Why do you think that we are NOT free thinkers? Are you so stuck in a rut that even when your ideas are wrong you won't change them??? Or, do you think that you are never wrong?? I will admit when I am wrong. Will you?

Well I implore you to look through the thousands of questions that pass through this forum on a daily basis and you will find most, if not all, Liberals are people of exemplary and independent thought.
You can then contrast that with the lemming like and slavish loyalty that Conservatives offer this discredited administration despite the fact they have erased all goodwill towards America around the world and you get your answer.

It seems the left-wing is entirely on board with the concept of free speech and open dissent, as long as those speeches and dissent are in line with the liberal agenda. When that dissent strays from the liberal cause, it is no longer considered free speech or constructive in nature, it becomes a threat somehow. Liberals blow hard with rhetoric and empty, simple-minded slogans like, "Bush lied, people died." They openly attack, not with facts or logic, but with shrill name-calling and unsupportable accusations. And they cannot tolerate any dissent being expressed over their dissent.
