Yes, many a time.....but it's still better to ask than not to ever know for sure....
*edit: I hesitate, but then I ask anyway because I think sometimes that I like making myself feel bad, I'm not sure anymore... :(

Yes, if I were to ask someone any of the following questions, I might feel some level of hesitation.
1. I love you, how does that make you feel?
2. Do you love me?
3. Do you miss me?
4. Is there any hope for a future together?
5. Do you still love me?
6. Is it over?

No. I don't mind being called stupid since I wouldn's ask the question if I know the answer and sometimes I ask even if I know what the answer is, for the sake of more clarification.
But I don't want to ask question that will offend anyone, even if I can provide more details, because then I won't get the answer I need.

Never do I hesitate to do anything one Y!A.
But in reall life I am much more carefull about what I say, and the questions I ask.
