Off late my wife has been wanting to explore sex outside marriage.She has a group of female friends who have experimented with the consent of their husbands either in a swingers club or otherwise.Is it normal?She has been insisting that we visit swingers club too.I am not too keen personally but,she is adamant on giving it a try.Has this happened to anyone else?Is it normal?

That is NOT good for your marriage. It is adultry almost except you just know about it and your doing it too. I would say don't do it. This is not normal and if anyone of my friends started to talk about it I would leave.

I have heard about groups like this. I honestly hold the opinion that this is not normal. It promotes a slue of problems...marital (infidelity-seeking to have relationships with others which effectively break up the original relationship) and sexually transmitted diseases (There is no sure protection from STDs other than abstinence or sex between 2 people (such as in marriage)).
If you are "not too keen personally", then you are not. Your relationship is diverging. I would wonder why she is so adamant about seeking physical relationships outside the marriage. It sounds like your views on what a marriage is suppose to be like, are diverging. I hope you don't have children--or that they are grown and flown. I would have a problem with my spouse or boyfriend seeking a relationship with others, other than me.

how to reply. well I suggested swinging to my partner. the thing that people who are not involved in the lifestyle do not understand is it has nothing to do with the love you share with your partner.
many people enter into the lifestyle for many different reasons.
some to spice up the marriage(must have a very strong relationship) .
with us it is a somewhat of a mid life thing. I see my self getting older and want to explore some sexual fantasy's before I am too old to enjoy them. I also do not want to sit back some day and wonder what if?
To enter into this kind of relationship you must have open communication and set rules and boundaries that you as a couple do not cross.
such as
only play together
or must have partners approval of playmate
always play safe(condoms ect)
always meet possible playmates in public place
never play in the marital home or bed
only you as a couple can decide if this is right for you and what boundaries or rules are set.
if you do not feel right doing it tell your wife and
say point blank me or the lifestyle. it may cost you your marriage but if you cant live with her having sex with others and she insist on it your marriage is already over.

I'd luv for my wife to be that open and share her ideas like that. I say give it a try but send some ground rules that you can both live with first.

There was a time when I wanted to do this also-when I was younger. A person who wants to do this is becoming soooooooo physical and allowing the lusts of the world to overtake them.
Your wife needs God. Maybe you do too? See if you can get her to read the bible with you, or you read it to her. Take her to church. Talk to her about Jesus. Turn her head and heart to God, and she will turn away from the lusts of the world. Pray for her and for your marriage.

They probably can be, but it's definitely not normal. Marriage is not only meant to be SACRED, but monogamous.
