With a "P", it's a city about 30km west of Sydney (Australia). Allthough the cities have grown so that you have continuous urbanisation from the coast to beyond Parramatta, they are still two separate cities.

"Parramatta" is an Aboriginal word and I think it means 'place of eels' (the local team is the Eels). Check it out, the local council has a website and it will have more information.

Have a blessed new year - not only one day but all through it.
