Saddam didn't just murder his enemies, he tortured and killed innocent men, women and children. He did it because he liked doing it. And if you state that Saddam deserved death, but no one deserves to kill him, what's left? "Dear Saddam, you have been very bad, and will be very bad in the future. However, at this time, no one believes you should be punished. So now, we are going to let you go if you promise not to ever be bad again."
The execution of a murderer is the only way to guarantee that he/she will never kill again, and life in prison does not mean life in prison.

You not going to agree with me on this, But......Saddam killed his own people he torture them ...children laid on the street and suffered there until they died, he done so much wrong there is no right, So what do we do with him, Let him live ? I do not celebrate his death, and i will not watch him be hanged. But the hanging was a lot less suffering than what he gave to others. Would we feel different if it was our mother, brother or child. Then would we offer to put that rope around his neck. What good did he bring this world........nothing, and we already have enough of that,

All I know is the world is a better place now with out him in it even though we can't see it as of yet. Wouldn't you put down a rabid dog? Why not him? He deserved what he got. I just wish they would have done it to him the way he did all those poor people. Dig a hole shoot him then cover up the hole in an unmarked grave! Or Gas the bastard. Now we have to get Bin Laden!!!!

first, "we" didnt kill him. that was decided by his countries court.
i think that he should have been hanged just so that the people in iraq could rest and know that hes gone forever.
plus who pays for these people that set on death row after they have murdered and raped our loved ones? we do..thats horse crap. im glad hes gone, but the usa did not kill him. the people of iraq did.

my only regret is that could only be done once. if only we had a sarcophagus, then we could kill him as many times as he himself took lives.
A sarcophagus is a device in which you place a dead body, and it brings the person back to life, in full health.
