Is it Grissom leaving? I wasn't sure who from the previews.
Correction: he isn't leaving, he's just not going to be in a few episodes, he's going to be in a play.

William Petterson is not leaving for good, he is taking a small sebatical due to prior engagements, namly a play that he had already committed to, he will be back in time for sweeps week in feb. so don't worry "grissom" isn't leaving now.

Gibbs from NCIS did a similar thing. It's just a bump in the road and he will return (she's says hopefully, with bated breath!!).

I guess he's taking a sabbatical on the show. I don't know if he'll be back. I think they have been preparing us for his departure.

I hope you are wrong - I hadn't heard that. I do believe, though, if he is leaving, the show will go one. It is such a good show.
