I commend you for speaking your mind on this subject. But it may be to no avail. I've done the same several times and you always get some smart *** who will think the opposite. The only thing people like us can do is to remember that everyone DOES have a right to speak their opinion, even if we don't agree with it. We can only hope that they will soon learn to have a conscious and think before condeming or ridiculing someone else. Maybe that will only happen when the tables are turned for them. I wish nothing bad to anyone, but...some people have to learn the hard way. Best of Luck to you....and to them.

When I answer a question, I take the asker seriously so I try to be as helpful and respectful as possible. Sometimes I come across questions that I know are being asked by people who are too embarrassed to ask a person to their face. Then there are the nosey roseys but hey, I can be just as nosey as the next yahoo. Most important, if I don't know a good answer, I leave the question to some one who does.

True dat. We're mean mamma jammas on a computer where we can't be seen, or in a 3500lb car when we get "road rage". Very few of us carry that "bravery" out in the open. It won't go away, though. There will always be a%$holes.

People who are rude, crude and insensitive here on YA are most likely rude, crude and insensitive in everything they do. These are the kind of people the rest of us just need to ignore. They don't really deserve our attention.
YA is for those who really want to help others with honest, caring answers. Unfortunately, jackasses horn in every where, don't they?

I agree with you 100%. There are some pretty cruel people out there. Most are pretty nice, though. I try to be nice, try to be helpful.

I always answer a question as if I were standing there. I don't need to put anyone down or make them feel bad, what's the point of that?

I like your point, because we can not see what happens we do think there are any consequences for what happens here. As humans we are wired to have empathy, but when you can not see them it is easy to forget we are dealing with another human being
