We can't.

You are obviously new to the subject so, if you want to understand the situation, you should read the Consumers Union Report on Licit and Illicit Drugs at http://druglibrary.org/schaffer/Library/studies/cu/cumenu.htm

It will explain the background of the subject. It is the best overall review of the drug problem ever written.

Just FYI, historically speaking, the biggest single cause of drug epidemics among US children is anti-drug campaigns. The book above gives numerous examples.

Fake a catastrophe. Example, if some student is hospitalized by smoking bad weed that will really slow down or stop the drug use. When kids see for themselves that they can really get hurt by doing drugs, finally it sinks in.

The way I see it as long as there are drugs.... they'll always be some kid who does one or more. So in order for the drug use to stop youd have to get ride of all the drugs and stuff to make them. Its a never ending battle and in most places its just getting worse. If you find a way..please let me know

all students should have to wear uniforms..i really think that would help. have mandatory classes everyday that have to do with drug use. in that class they have to volunteer at drug rehabs etc.
really its the person that is tempted to these drugs that is going to have to simply say no.
i wish there were an end to it..

I agree with Atlas, but you have to learn how to outsmart teens. Tell them that up until the time they graduate, they will be randomly drug tested and the results sent off to colleges and universities so that they will not be considered as prospective students if they fail, esp. your athletes. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't.

We lost the war on drugs a long time ago.

cant be done, I laugh every time I hear the "news" about kids drinking, paryting, having sex, lying to their parents about stuff, and everyone is shocked that these things are happening, like we all didnt do the same when we were in school, or at least know those who did.

good luck with that, cause doesn't matter what you do, somewhere there will always be teens using drugs...sad as that is, its life....although not saying you shouldn't try, but just thought you should a have a realistic expectation of success...

We never can. It is only getting worse. The meth epidemic that they talk about. Once that one is over another wave of something will come.
