I know what you mean. I had other problems. I kept getting a message "cannot find server". Someone told me to go back to internet explorer 6, which I did. Still couldn't get it going. I unplugged the computer and the next day it started back up. However, I got a message today "you have updates" I looked and you guessed it "one was Internet explorer 7." I plan to go to Firefox or one of the others.

One of the things you might want to do is turn off the Phishing Filter. The Phishing Filter tends to slow things down a bit.
1) Click [Tools] in the upper-right corner >> Phishing Filter >> Turn Off Automatic Website Checking...
2) Choose the option that says "Turn off automatic Phishing Filter"
3) Click [OK]
4) Restart IE7

Turning off the Phishing Filter will usually make "7" run much faster.
YMMV.

Curse Bill Gates for his latest incarnation of internet hell, and get a different browser. Or, just deal with the fact that Microsoft made it, so it is buggy and requres weekly security updates........

go to add and remove programs then click internet explorer 7 delete it and then close all internet windows and it should be back to the normal one we all know and love if not restart the pc then it will be fixed.
