it didnt hurt that bad. I got mine pierced 5 years ago. piece of cake. just a bit of stinging and bruising. take ibuprofin afterwards if it stings or bruises. When they say one... two... three! breath out really loud on three! it helps believe me lol! Also dont get it dont anywhere but a tattoo and piercing parlor place. you need to get it done with a hollow needle. it could break the cartilage if you got it done somewhere they use a piercing gun. Good luck! it will be over before you know it!!!

Not really, it feels like a tiny pinch. It hurts more when it's trying to heal. It feels nothing like when you pinch your ear yourself, it hurts way less then that. If you just try to stay calm & breathe slowly it helps a lot too. I got mine pierced about 13 months ago. It does take a long time to heal too, like 8 months or more.

I have mine done three times and they were sore mostly when I tried to lay on that side on my head or if I hit it with a brush. It lasted maybe three weeks. It takes longer for that part of the ear to heal

A little more than it does the lobe area, but be careful with it, they tend to get infected easier when piercing the cartilage areas.

Not too bad, my teenage son recently got his pierced and he had little discomfort. Too avoid infection just make sure you follow the instructions like how often you should clean it, and when it is ok to take it out and exchange it with another earring.

The actual piercing didn't hurt that much, but I was unable to sleep on that side of my head for years without it really hurting in the morning. I still have mine but it bothers me sometimes if I sleep on it wrong. 10 years.

it doesnt hurt when you get it, but it takes a long long time to heal, maybe even a year. if you catch it on your hair or something you will be sorry!
