why or why not? I think I'd get more exercise if I did, but I figure better safe than sorry and wait til tomorrow, in which I may or may not take a walk. also I eat instead if I don't exercise.

People-wise I feel safe. Nice, small town. It's the dang dogs I fear! So, I don't go for walks.

Yes, I live in a small town here in Nevada, and I would feel safe, cause just a few blocks away is my friends in the County Sheriffs office(and they are my friends),
if I told them someone was bothering me, they would all go after them.
On the other side of town, about 1 1/2 miles is the city police and the Chief and a couple of the officers are also my friends, plus highway patrol station here, I have friends in there too.
I also have a lot of other friends here, so I could go to most any door and they would help me if needed.
This is a nice little town. Except about a month ago, someone broke into the gas station next door and robbed it,of get this, cartons of cigarettes, alcohol and the little bit of money left in the cash register. The door they broke in was a solid metal door. If I look out my kitchen window, I can see the station.

Yes because I live in a small town. The best time to exercise to lose weight and sleep better at night is late afternoon or early evening.

i walk every night between 10 and 11, granted I live in a very safe neighborhood, but i do feel safe.

haaa yeah i live in a tiny town in NH however there was just a double shooting in the next town over, im scared of the dark anyways so i wouldnt go out but i would feel safe in my town

I wouldn't walk past dark in my neihbourhood. I live near downtown, and I usually go out during the day when there's lots of traffic.

My neighborhood is very safe...there are 3 uniformed officers on our street.

NO. Do not put yourself at risk. There are too many *crazy* people around. Even in the best of neighborhoods.
