I do not know if this has been asked but how d you get a sniper rifle in gears of war. Do you start with it on xbox live or do you find it on the ground or somthing. Help me out!

You find it on the ground. I think the first time you find it is when you are by the one car all burned up and there is a lil movie sequence, than there is a guy shooting at you from a machine gun post.
When you really need a sniper rifle it will be laying around. Just look for it and don't be shy to carry it around, it comes in handy a lot.

well you find it and its in the last level, killed the last boss just with the sniper
