When can't I download onto my Torrent Spy?

I just downloaded Bit torrent and Im tyring to dload a few things form the search engine Torrent Spy. I have two things trying to download but nothing is happening. In the bottom left hand corner it says "checking for firewall" but it has for a while now and I don't know how to get it moving!!

Probably the torrent your downloading does't have any seeds, meaning that not many people are sharing it. The torrent your downloading might be corrupt or something. Maybe the torrent donwloader you are using is not good. I use torrentspy.com to...alll the time. And i alsways use BitComet. You can download it at download.com I did a little investigation search on the website donwload.com and i noticed that BitComet is more popular than any other torrent downloader. The number of people that downloaded BitComet beats the number of people downloaded bittorrent and bitlord and etc.. So i suggest use what i use and not have so much trouble. It might solve the problem. If it doesnt then its just the seeds or corrupt torrent.
