Where can i get info on the "ingredients" in gas at gas stations. Such as the amount of detergents in the gas they sell.

well the gas station usually wont have the info availible,but you can usually find it at the website for the fuel maker. and yes gas has detergent in it ( not the clothes type ) it helps keep your fuel system clean .the first responder really should try reading the labels at the gas pump

You are right that there is detergent in gas. You know it is not the same kind that we wash our clothes with. You would probably have to go to the manufacturer. Chevron might be a place to start. I'm sure if you go to their site you could find and answer or e-mail someone who will respond, hopefully. If not, call. It is no secret there are additives.

Google the gasoline brand, and you may be able to find out. Since most companies use proprietary additives, they may not tell what kind of detergent they use, but other ingredients will be listed.

Spices from Iraq or Wall mart and 1/2 cup of regular laundry soap.If you put too much of soap your car will smoke a lot then you blend all with cooking oil(cholesterol free) for 32 hours

gas is not food. it does not have ingredients. it has chemicals and oil. And no, it does not have detergents. (You clean clothes with detergents not fuel your car)
