The black blood you're referring to is more than likely just extremely dark red... I'm a nurse and have seen menstrual blood of all shades.

It's probably really really dark red, which is normal. That is old blood, as opposed to bright red blood, which is new. Don't worry!

no way honey!!!!!!...you really need to visit a gynecologist!!!!...its not normal to have black blood in starting!!..you should have red or lil dark red..that's all....not more than this!!!....plz make sure you tell this to your mom and make sure that u visit a gynecologist!!!!!!...good luck honey!!

that could mean that you have been sick lately. a cold or virus can cause that but check with your doctor. this happened to me once and they said it was an infection in my body, I had a bad cold. good luck
