When you have your hair braided tightly in (what used to be called) corn rows...how do you tighten up the base as your hair grows...do you have to undo each one and rebraid it? Or can you just let it grow as is for a while. I know that other types of hair can do this as well and I hope this isn't too stupid a question...but there are no black people around here..so I can't really ask anyone..I'm asking on the GLBT site 'cause thats where I usually hang out . Thanks

Rose, there was a question a little while ago about straightening black hair...that's where it originated

It's a pain in the butt! Did it once, never do it again!! The braiding took FOREVER!!

But to answer your question you have to start all over again, especially if the hair that's growing in has to be treated.

You don't have to re-braid it for about two weeks because the new hair growth grows in between the corn rows.

Interesting question.

Best wishes. Rose P.

the 1st answerer mentioned the two races try this. Black human beings do not try this. in the event that they did then it somewhat is to retaliate. Black persons are too on the instant-forward and non-cowardly to try this. If we've been given something to assert, ultimate have faith it may be mentioned on your face and that would desire to be the top of it

Haha that wasn't a stupid question. I'd definitely never thought about that. But now I know!

That's not a stupid question - or, at least, I've wondered it before now. Careful that you don't get another violation for "Miscategorised" though...
