can pokemon fire red battle with pokemon from emerald version?

this will be the third time that i am telling you this, so i'll use different words
in ruby and sapphire, you can communicate (trade, battle) with anyone that is able to communicate with you
in emerald, you can communicate with ruby and sapphire whenever you want, and you can communicate with fire and leaf only after you beat the elite four
in fire and leaf, they can communicate with fire and leaf only. BUT. after you beat the elite four and do celio's quest, you can communicate with ruby, sapphire, and emerald too

all 386 pokemon can be on any game, and get in a fight with any other pokemon while they are on ANY game - the game that they are on doesn't even matter

Yes, but the simpleint thing to do is to try. t doesint hurt the Data or Cartrages if you link 2 games togeather. If one doesint detect the other, than you know it doesint work. Simple as that.

yeah if you link with a friend or go to trainer tower an somehow end up fighting like that!or in emerald go to BattleFrontier!!!
