my best friend wants to stop bein best friends since we are goin to different collages! i need help how am a supposed to react? we are such good m8s and all of a sudden she told me!

shez not ur best friend if she wants to end ur friendship! best friends are never apart! they don't end. react normal i guess b/c it seems even if u'll say sumthing she'll come up with other explanations. Try to be happy. i know how itz like losing a best friend. just think of it this way...she isn't really ur best friend since she wants to end this friendship!

I would really need a bit more information to help you out here with your question. But I will try based on the facts provided.
If you are sociable, friendly, and not too shy, meeting new friends should come easily for you in your new college. It is always healthy to meet new people, and have several friends. You can share different interests and you can always learn new things. If you only have one really close friend, you can become too dependent on each other, and then, for instance in this case, when you are about to go to separate colleges, it can really hurt when you have to go separate ways, especially when both friends don't agree.
My other suggestion is there is always the good old Internet with e-mail and instant messaging, cell phones and texting. I don't know why you both couldn't at least keep in touch that way.
You may want to sit down and talk to your friend and ask her what the real reason is for her not wanting to remain best friends with you. Perhaps she will miss you so much, that is her ways of handling it. Just ask her.
Hang in there. Good luck with your new college. Think positive, and concentrate on your educational goals. That could last a lifetime.

I guess that you will have to make some new friends and you will find a new best friend if you just be yourself and be outgoing and very friendly....I believe it will work out for you honey.

sit down and talk and tell her that we could steal be friends and if your friend says no try to make her remember the good days you hanged out with her. good luck and call her if you girls are at college all ready or call her if diff probs and if don't work sorry i guess you'll have to make new friends
