Tags can be put on by anyone. Do like the first person said and have someone check it for you

Look at the label. If its FAUX then it will give the fabric types. If it's real (which i do not agree with wearing animal furs...) then it should say the animal it came from.

I agree with Jolly - take it to a furrier or a dry cleaner that cleans furs- they will be able to tell you what it is and how to care/store it. Good Luck and ENJOY!

Check your Yellow Pages under "Furriers" and take the coat down to them to have it identified. They may charge you a small fee.

oh my. FUR? animals? feel it. check the nametags. search the internet for its shops in the internet, if it says its 100% genuine fur, dont believe it.

are you sure it said fox fur and not feux or faux fur because those mean 'fake' in French, i think.

why on earth would you want to wear a real fur coat, that's disgusting. how would you like to be skinned and worn by j dahlmer or someone? GO PETA!
