That's a really difficult question to answer because very, very few people have had both experiences and can compare them. Until then, you're likely to get med students saying medical school is harder, dental students saying dental is harder, and lots of people who aren't really sure inbetween them.
I'm a pre-med student; I have friends who are pre-pharmacy and other friends who are pre-dental. We don't ever bicker about what's going to be harder because we know it's all going to be time-consuming and stressful. People in these professional health schools -- one of my friends is a med student and one of my other friends is a dental student -- say the work isn't that difficult, it's just the volume of material.
So either way you go, just expect to put in about 4-8 hours of lecture and 8-12 hours of studying every day. Again, it varies from school to school and person to person but those should be average time ranges.

Yes I would say medical is far more harder than dental. I think that dental is only 6 yrs. and with medical you can go from 8-12yrs ,depending on your major,. and then ever so often you have to go back to school and have refresher courses. I dont think I would like to be in school that much.

i would go as far as saying WAY MORE harder in medical school than dental. there is so much more to cover plus with dental they do not have to go through the more time in residency.
