Yes, you will never really get the full speed unless your the only one using bandwidth on your block. It also depends on the uploaders speed. Like I have a 3 mb/s download rate, but I only get like 400 kb/s download rate. So don't worry. But having a 128 kb/s and dl at 20 kb's. I would feel pretty good. :)

Yes it is, actually 15-20 on a 128 is pretty nice. The speeds qouted to you by the provider are theorical speeds. Wiring, location and other things play a factor in actually achieving said speed.

Yes. The bottleneck may be with the computer you are downloading FROM. The fastest speed you will ever get depends on the speed of the slowest computer in the line.

When you are on Limewire, other folks are downloading files from YOUR computer and this is what YOU do when you are downloading files from thier computers on that site! If you have a popular file, they will be hitting YOUR computer for the file! GET it?

if your speed is realy good and if your server from where you donwload the file is slower then you ll face this prob.
the downloading speed depends on the speed of your internet connection and to tthe server too
if the server is busy you ll get these kinda prob indownloading

yes is normal. the download rate is the upload of the hosts you are downloading. I have 50 Mega Of downloads and is downloading in lime wire a 30kb/s.
