What kind of work could I get with that degree? Would it even be worth going to school for an Associates degree in that field? I have read a lot of other post that say you need a masters degree to set yourself apart, but I do not have that much time. I need to get in and out of school fast so I can start working. Any help with this career decision would be helpfull.

Not even sure what Environmental Technology represents...maybe go for a degree in Natural Resource Management instead.

Any degree is worth the time. An AA/AS Degree is just the first step in many that you can get. Talk with your employer, and an advisor of a local Community College about it. They will be able to tell you if it will be worth your time and money to invest in this sort of a program.
