I see people go up to people they don't know very well and just talk to them. I am too shy too do that. Any ideas?

just take your time..work your way into it..and listen to the conversation and if u have any imput just throw it out there and go with the flow..if they are talking about britney and k fed..then be like i think she was better before him but or say how about katie and tom..just listen to the conversation and u will know when your time comes its like the slow clap lol..

Just get out some place where you can be near people like the mall and when you think that you are ready pick out someone and say hello. It's really that easy. I did that a long time ago because I was shy too. Don't laugh but I started out talking to old ladies.

This may sound a little weired but try going to a Karaoke Place it helps you to learn to deal with butterflies and after singing in front of strangers talking to them is a breeze. Pick a song you know well enough to close your eyes and sing just by the music .
