yes but it has to be a small dog, if it is a large dog it probability wont fit in the chair,and the answer to your second question,small dogs have the ability to do that without getting trained, they are just born with the ability well, she might not get pleased because she doesn't want you to feed your dog some food,my dog isn't allowed to sit at the kitchen table because that will get him sick of to much people food mix together with dog food, that is why your mom is not pleased.
