The Bible asserts, in the original, that homosexuality was caused by God -- and then goes on to talk about its evil -- some theologians among the hyper Calvinists claim that homosexuality is a punishment for being sinful -- that God causes it to punish people.
I think that given that it is very easy to prove that the Bible is mythic (any error means it is not an infallible book and there are thousands of errors and contradictions) that it doesn't matter. Homosexuals exist, they are as they are -- they aren't from God or the extremely mythic devil -- they just are.
Be at peace.

Reynolds

Paul wrote about homosexual acts, but the context is not clear. The passage most likely refers to homosexual acts in the context of idol worship and not in the context of attraction and love. Although the passage is often cited by those with a personal hatred against gay people, to infer that it is a blanket condemnation against gay people is reading words into the Bible that are simply not there.

I've always been taught that God created and loves us all, and He makes no mistakes! If God didn't create homosexuals, there wouldn't be any! The Bible has been re-translated over and over again through the years, and those who hate us love to quote re-translated text out of context to try to justify their bigotry. God loves me just fine the way He created me, thank you! Those who hate in the name of God are the ones who are sinners.

I don't believe it says anything about homosexuality in the way YOU want it to.
I believe it's talking more about heterosexuals who go against their natural tendencies and engage in homosexual activity, not homosexuals having NORMAL relations with other homosexuals.
Here's a passage from a noted Biblical scholar I suggest you take a look at:
"It must be remembered also that Paul was referring to homosexual ACTS, not homosexuals. AND NO ONE KNOWS WHAT HOMOSEXUAL ACTS PAUL WAS TALKING ABOUT... NO ONE KNOWS THE BACKGROUND... We must ask ourselves "what type of homosexual acts was Paul talking about?" Was he talking exclusively about homosexual acts connected with idolatry? (Perhaps that was the only kind of homosexual activity he was familiar with.) Was he talking about pederasty? Was he talking about homosexual acts committed with slaves? Was he talking about people of heterosexual orientation committing homosexual acts? Just exactly what type of homosexual acts was he concerned with? Do people have the Right to just ASSUME that these verses were a blanket condemnation of homosexual sex in every context?"

Why would I consult a book of myth that I don't believe in other than for amusement? That book also claims Bats are birds and rabbits chew cud.... You get more enlightenment out of Dr. Seuss.

Romans was written by Paul, wasn't it?
This is the same man who spoke disparagingly of women as well, correct?
Is Paul God?

The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals. It's just that they need more supervision. ~Lynn Lavner

Tell me who needs a book to tell her or him what is in the heart. And who needs to be concerned with another person's private or personal affairs? No disrespect to you, but the Bible simply has no validity in these matters.
