Obviously he votes (a point each) whenever possible, which is unlimited at that level. You could easily rack up hundreds, maybe thousands, of points a day by just voting, which you could do without even reading the questions.

A greater question in my mind, though, is WHERE do people with hundreds of thousands of points find the time needed to acquire them? Surely you could not have a job, or a family, or normal social contacts, if you put so much time into acquiring points that are completely meaningless in any tangible way.

Ah well....

it might be from "thumbs ups" from "friends." you can get 50 per best answer.

or he might have some sort of automated voting bot.

who cares, though, he must be doing nothing else but yahoo answers. and what happens if this site shuts down? will it definitely be here forever? I mean I think it will be around for awhile but I am not certain enough to make this some big permanent part of my life.

Thumbs up points?

PS We are the wrong people to be asking, but after that moronic violation I received today, I do not think asking YA personnel will help either.

Did you take into account the point for voting a best answer?

If you answered 239,242 questions and got 6,443 answers instead of 77,316 answers, does it really matter?

Why are you counting?

What are you counting on?

Do points count?

What is the point of your life or are counting points for your life?
