Delete everything you have loaded including whatever virus protection you have.

Launch IE and go get aVast Home and install it. Go to MS and get Windows Defender. Update both and do a boot time scan.

Once back in Windows go get Lavasoft's Adaware Home and Spybot. Run both after updating them.

If your still "dirty" your probably getting close to needing to just wipe and load as you'll spend hours and hours trying to clean it only to find the system never works right or that your never relaly sure it's clean.

I suggest that you simply carry out a system restore to a date when the computer was working normally with out such problems. This should undo the changes that have taken place and the PC should work normally. If you find some problem after system restore you have options to revert back or chose another date. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html. Subsequently you install astandard antivirus and an antispyware.

If you have backed up all your files then reformat your C:\ drive and reinstall all the system software(i.e. Windows cd or Mac os cd etc.).If that sounds too drastic you might try starting your comp in safe mode (F5 or F8 depending on your config.)at startup before the Windows screen appears and keep pressing it.Once in safe mode run a full scan with your Security program and then reboot. Also try downloading
Windows Defender,Spybot Search & Destroy and AVG Antivirus Free and run them.Just Google or Yahoo search the programs above and see if that helps(They're all free).
