naruto would be fit to in Shikamaru's or Shino's team because that would be a balance to those teams because in Shikamaru's team, naruto would be the main fighter together with Choji when Shikamaru can only control shadow and ino can only control mind.
as for Shino's team, naruto can be the main fighter with kiba and shino...and even hinata because almost three of them in shino's team can fight not like shika's team some of the character in shika are kinda weak.

They shift him in and out of different groups. The teams don't matter so much after the chuunin exam. I mean, you don't see the jounin in teams.
