You can always look on line or check out the website for NewTimes, Miami Herald real estate or an apartment finder site. Most landlords require 2 - 3 months in advance, 1st month, security deposit (equal to one month) and last month.

Go to any search engine and type in the name of the city you are moving to. there should be a listing for a chamber of commerce in it and you should be able to find a link there. also try typing say if you are movint to
Tampa type "apartments/tampa you should get some hits that way.
