For "underpriviledged youths". You know what I'm talking about.

You can't tell me, that because you were born in chicago, or compton you can't make a living for yourself and succeed in life.

What about native americans born on reservations in the middle of nowhere? They took it upon themselves and built casinos. Now they have money and jobs (not to metion hiring prefrence in indian casinos). I know I have worked for one.

Shouldnt we hold everyone to the same standards?

So i ask again, why do people make excuses for these "underprivledged youths"?

It is a privledge to work, not a right.

Im sure i'll be called a racists by some of you, I just hope you think it through first.

It's always easy to judge but every person is different.
There are tons of people who make a good living and do well for themselves even having come from an "underprivileged" background. However, there are people who try and try and never become "successful" in their own eyes or to what society says "successful" should be.
Some people are happy with their quality of life no matter what anyone else may think.
And others...just get stuck in a slump and don't see any other way out. There are definitely less opportunities on the bottom...way less than on top.

Society has brought these kids up believing that the world owes them something . It takes 2 incomes to keep your head above water for a lot of people so parents rely on teachers and day care to raise their kids . All the parents do is keep giving more and more material things to the kids & they as I say believe the world owes them something .

The transference of guilt is what powers the human ego.

Debasing our sense of responsibility gives us permission to act without dealing with cleaning up the mess later on.

Very Freudian stuff.
