I don't believe it was justified. Two wrongs do not make a right! No human being has the right to take another's life for any reason whatsoever. It is ONLY GOD who can punish people for their misdeeds. When Bush bombed Afghanistan and Iraq, didn't he kill thousands of innocent men, women and children? Did the execution of Saddam Hussein undo the wrongs he had done? Did it bring back the thousands of people he killed? Has it resolved the crisis in Iraq? Now that he has paid for his wrongs with his life, is he forgiven? What about his other misdeeds for which he was not tried?

Was Saddam's execution of WHOLE VILLAGES justified?
When he killed mothers and the babies still in their arms with Sarin nerve gas, was he justified?
When he would have a group of criminals handcuffed, taken to the top of a 10 story building, and then pushed off, was he justified then?
If you answer these questions, you've answered your own.

I don't know. Let's ask a few thousand Iraqis who had their loved ones taken away by Saddam's secret police to be tortured and/or executed for just looking at him wrong, shall we?.

Well as gross as it may sound... i think him being put to death was very easily justified for the death and pain he caused to hundreds of thousands of people.... although it would not be right for him to be delt with in the states it was wel deserved. i know it says God will deal with all who have been done wrong (something along those lines, in the bible) but it also says "those who live by the sword shall die by the sword" and i believe he deserved what he got, although if it were up to me i wouldn't have put him out of his misery so quickly... i would have put him in jail for every single day of his life, living in a tiny little cell no bigger then a bathroom stall and have him put to sleep at 1:00am (get beatings if he went to bed sooner) and waken up at 5:00 am and have him wipped till his back was bleeding... etc....

Lets just discount the millions who died and were tortured because of this man. He deserves to die a thousand deaths just for torching the Kuwait oil wells and polluting the earth alone.

Yes it was justified, but I think it was too easy on him, he should have been tortured like he did others then killed
