yeah....but people who brag about certain things that they have are only trying to cover up what they are lacking in their life...maybe a materialistic person is bragging b/c they lack a loving relationship in their life

no, but an ex co-worker whom I also had a class with. She would always brag and was very competitive. She had to out-do everyone.
Don't feel bad- your "friend" (if you call her that) just has very low self esteem and needs to brag to make herself feel better.

People that brag do so from insecurity. Take pride in the fact that you don't have to resort to bragging to know who you are.

Yes, I know someone who has "top that" syndrome - anything you have, she has something better. Or if you're sick, she's dying. it doesn't matter what it is, she has to have the last word and she has to come out on top.
I've started just ignoring her when she does that. Kinda takes the wind out of her sails.

yea...my friend is not RICH but her family has money and the is very spoiled and even somewhat of abrat. Sometimes i wanna jus yell at her when she complains bc she has nothing bad to complin about.
