Go to http://www.aol.com and use AIM Express. Otherwise install one of the Linux builds for PS3 such as YellowDog Linux and use the compatible GAIM.

Maybe. Get the yellow dog linux, then find an emulator that includes .NET framework or try Virtual PC once you get the linux intalled on the hard drive.
