Polarbears spend a lot of time in and under the water.Do their eyes have a special adaptation to enable them to see?

Polar bears normally swim with their heads above water but they have excellent. underwater vision. A polar bear can detect a seal buried 3' deep in snow 1km away (almost a mile) through their sense of smell.

oh yes, thats how they hunt seals down there sometimes.
