I would love to be in Florida right now. I'm assuming when you say New York, you're talking about going to Time's Square for the dropping of the ball. I have no interest in being in such a crowded place.

Florida.
I've lived less than 5 miles from Times square for the last 10 years (various and sundry locations).
I wouldn't go down there on New Year's eve, to freeze my butt off and pee my pants looking for a bathroom, for all the tea in China.

I would choose New York. Florida is nice and warm but NYC w/ Times Square...is purely good.
That and I hate everything about Florida.

I"m from toronto and although ive been to both, i'd say NYC because at least i'd still have the climate and wintery kinda feeling that i love during this time of year.
