As far as the news stories go, Fox news often covers the same news that NBC, CBS, CNN, and even NPR cover, but I think the difference is in their commentary and analysis. The Fox shows are usually much more contentious, and the hosts, Bill O and Shawn H, in particular, much more biased. They conduct shows that are more aimed at saying the outrageous and getting ratings. Listen to NPR, CSPAN, or the BBC to hear what adult conversation is like

The only thing I've ever seen which linked the Bush administration to Fox News was a book by Jake Tapper, "The Plot to Steal the Presidency." It was a very good and even-handed look at the fiasco in the Florida election of 2000. Mr. Tapper said that George Bush has a cousin who is a very high-ranking executive in the Fox News organization. I forget the name of the cousin, though.

The problem with Fox is when they analyze an issue, they always have both sides and they encourage liberals to share their opinion. CNN does not also include conservates consistently. No doubt Fox has a conservative bias but they have way more integrity than other outlets in sharing both sides.

Fox News repeatedly reported Mark Foley as being a Democrat. Over and over and over again.

Fox news executives just were smart. They saw the rest of the media bias, knew people were sick of it and saw an opportunity..
And judging from their success it was a good move.

Fox news is not a conservative propaganda news channel like so many say it is. It may have conservative pundits on, but that does not mean their portrayal of the news is any different than CNNs or anything, the only difference is the commentators. But the ironic thing in all of it is the fact that CNN has terribly liberal commentators and the liberals claim that it is simply "neutral". Yeah right

It's kind of like calling CNN the Communist News Network. People just call each other demeaning names when they disagree with each other and can't be bothered to really debate the issues.

They don't exist. Liberals deny the truth and keep repeating the un-true until enough people buy it. Remember the old saying, "the truth hurts?"
