I was wanting to tone out my chest, and benching just isn't helping

bench press should be more than enough if you are doing it correctly.

try this:
do 5 sets of 15 or 3 sets of 20 on about 60% of your max. also, try using a "wide" grip. there should be little rings to show you where the wide grip is. make sure you have a spotter. you also should diet as well as excercise. it wont matter how toned your chest is if there is fat over the muscle.

Try benching heavier weight an eating more protein like tuna,cheese,nuts...

benching always helps me, so i'm surprised.

try rowing...I think you want to do it slow

when you bench, do you bench fast or slow? try the opposite of whatever u're doing

Well you will have to make sure you are getting enough protein in your diet and make sure you are drinking water. Remember you must feed your muscle to make it grow.

push up but extend your arms out so more pressure goes to your pecs
