You need to sit back and reevaluate why you want to get married at the age 16? What is so important that you have to run out and get married now? What is influencing this decision? Is this decision something you can live with for the rest of your life, your 16 your still a teenager, why would you go and get married? Don't do it, live your life and in 2 years if you think I just have to get married then do it, but until then live and be happy, don't rush to be married, its a great thing when you have found that person and know that there is no one else out there for you and that is the person that you want to wake up and look at each morning, but until then you need to wait. If it's meant to be you can wait

No,,no,,no, you don't want to get married, hon.... bad choice. Use lots of birth control since your hormones are controlling your life. The last thing you need now is to have them trick you into a pregnancy at age 16.... you'll be like all the other single moms on here that ask: "What happened, he loved me, we were so in love, now I have this baby, and I love this baby but he has a girl friends, and he is never here, and yadayadyayayda....." What is happening now, ain't gonna be what will be happening in 5 years..... do with your bod whatever you want, just don't make an accident of a kid the result of it, and you getting older and resenting that kid taking away your youth.... No, sweetie, you don't want to get married and you don't want a child yet........ Marriage isn't a life long meat ticket.... as my mom said when I was your age:
1. never have a child you yourself cannot support in style...
2. Always be sure you have the education to get a job that pays you well enough to buy the goodies that make life fun...
3. Always have a stash of cash even if you think you'll never need it.
4. Don't get involved with a married man..
You deserve the best life has to offer, and marriage ain't it at 16, sweetie...

First of all, your too young. You need to wait until you know the person very well. You know how many divorces there are now in this world? Millions every day. People go to fast and don't think through it. They are marrying each other before they know the ins and outs of each other. Live your life a little more before you buckle down on this one person. Who knows.. you may meet someone else that could be your true love.

More than likely you will be required to have your parents consent. Why in the world you would want to jump up and do something like get married at such a young age is beyond me. You have so many years ahead of you to do that. Enjoy being young while you can, get your education and mature first!

make sure you have a good job with benefits, perferably a h.s diploma, savings account with more than 5 dollars in it
the man must have a decent job with benefits, a car is nice, he must have a h.s diploma
all in all, you are 16; therefore your taste and outlook in life will change. Yeah, you may want to get married, but once you start to experiencing life by hanging out with girls who are not knocked up or have men who are the centered of their life...you will see that you have alot growing up to do. marriage will still be there when you are 30.
trust i am 30, and finally ready to have a boyfriend

Well if your so set on getting married,if your 16 in some states you can legally get married to someone without consent.
In most cases of marriage, you need your parents consent, when you are that young, unless you are emancipated. Depending on your state. You should look on your state website concerning marriage.

That's not exactly the brightest move. You can do it if you want, but you will regret it for the rest of your life. What's the hurry? Go out and have fun for a few more years. If it's meant to be, then get married after you have some financial and emotional security.

Think about it for a while.
Then a while longer.
Sixteen is a tad young to be married.
I'm not sure where you live, but I think you need parental consent before a certain age. So check into that.
But seriously... wait. There's no rush to do anything like that right now. You don't want to end up a 17 year old divorcee.
