This is tough because every decade (except the 60s and 70s, and maybe the 80s) had some great fashions. My first inclination is to choose the 40s. The clothes were classy, which I love. :-)
Fashions around and prior to 1900 were beautiful, but all those layers and corsets. Goodness. They had to be heavy, a hassle and not all that comfortable.

I definatly think that the best decade for fashion was the 1920s. The clothes were so classy yet sexy. If I could choose a generation to live in purely based on the fashion, I would choose the 20s.

80's and 90's!!!!!!!!!!! I personally think they had the best fashion in those two decades! I remember bleached stone jeans. And all that. The bright neons converse shoes. We had the best shows,movies, and music. It's just the best of the best. Oh,and wrestling was absolutely awesome with the best wrestlers!
Just brings back sooooooo many memmories.

Wow great question! The 70's hands down. There was the Maxie, the mini, and the midi. I love wearing long hippie dresses. Love wearing a midi with boots......and beads. The and frayed jeans. Halters, everything was fun, and new....and so comfortable............the seventy with black lites, and black lite posters. Even the older generation got into the groove. My mom and her friends bought clogs and wild floral shirts. I love the colors and patterns. But disco ruin the styles and brought in the polyester shirts, big chains......white suits yuck........give me denim any day

Early 1900's Edwardian style. I just love the long dresses of that time. Sexy, yet modest and feminine. Strange I know.

90's all day baby. It was so innocent, the bright and flashy colors, the lack of discipline when wearing different shoes, baggy jeans, hat to the back, mismatched socks! Those were the fun days, where we loved being young and wasn't trying to grow up fast by looking like adults. I LOVE THE 90'S!

I love the 80's! Everything was tight with stilettos. Seems to be coming back a little now...
