Does it hurt to breath in water??
Is it as bad as it sounds??

yes, i have almost drown trapped under a wave it lasted forevere (at least it seemed) and i just remeber thinking wow where am i i only saw water, i could feel nothing i tried ot sdcream and i wondered if my mom heard me, it was like i was living under water, like it was all a dream, the saltwater did not even bother my eyes!

yes!! when i was 11 nearly drowned got stuck under a tractor tube with 8 others on top . it was absolutely horrible .. i seen my life pass under the water .. i just got this great big urge of strength and i was up .. most horrible experience ever!!

I almost drowned when I was 15 in a quarry we used to swim in, it was the worst experience of my life and to this day I hate swimming.

Yes.
I had pneumonia, very similar to drowning... except much slower.
Also almost drowned as a child. Very painful.

yes, when I was 7...but I dont remember anything except waking up on the shore with everyone around me
